Before you come aboard

What to bring

Short list. It is always cooler and brighter on the water than it is on shore — that catches almost everyone out.

For your charter

    Whatever the season

    • SunglassesThe glare off the lake is stronger than anything on land — even under cloud.
    • SunscreenThe water reflects it straight back at you. People burn on grey days here.
    • One warm layer more than you thinkMoving across open water takes several degrees off the air.
    • Flat or soft-soled shoesOr bare feet, which is what most guests end up doing. No heels on the deck.
    • Something to tie long hair backIt gets breezy once we are moving.

    Already on board

No need to pack any of this.

    • Life jackets for every guest, adults and children
    • Wool blankets
    • Glasses, plates and everything for serving
    • Your food and drinks, on hosted cruises
    • A swim ladder, on charters of two hours or more

    Two things to know

    Please arrive five minutes early

Another charter is often waiting, so a late arrival shortens your time rather than moving it. How to find us →

There is no toilet on board

Facilities are available before boarding — worth using them. On longer charters a stop can be planned.

    Anything else?

Message Captain Chris. Nothing is a silly question, least of all about the weather.
