Lake Thun has vineyards. Small ones, on steep terraces, invisible from the road and perfectly clear from the water. In one evening we pass all four of them and taste what each one makes — with a cheese chosen for it, and the vines in sight while you drink.
Your boat, your evening. No other guests, no fixed route, no schedule but the sunset.

Spiezer Jubilé — extra-brut sparkling
Pinot Noir, four years on the lees, with a Swiss double-cream cheese.

Merligen · the rare one
Merliger Solaris — white
A single tiny parcel above the village, one wine, a few hundred bottles. Served with local Mutschli, looking straight at the vines it came from.

Hilterfingen · north shore
Hilterfinger Regent Rosé
Off the terraces above the rooftops, with young goat's cheese.

Oberhofen · below the castle
Oberhofner Pinot Gris
As the light drops onto the castle, paired with Berner Alpkäse AOP.
