Worth two minutes of your attention before you set off — it is the one thing that cannot be solved once we are out on the water.
Gerbe Fisherman's Landing, where we board, has no facilities of its own.
So go before you board. There are two easy ways to do that, and one option once we are already out on the water.
Before you board
The simplest solution by far, and it costs you none of your time on the water.

Your hotel, your apartment, the restaurant you had lunch in. Five seconds of forethought and the question never comes up again.
On your way · by car
Public toilets at Bärsäge, Merligen
A few minutes from the meeting point by car, with a handful of parking spaces outside. If you are driving to us, stopping here first is the easy answer.

If you did not manage it beforehand, it can still be arranged — and Captain Chris would far rather you asked than sat there hoping. How long it takes depends on where we are on the lake at that moment.

The same facilities, reached from the water. Captain Chris can take you there by boat from Gerbe, subject to conditions and access on the day.
5–7 minutes of sailing, each way
That is the sailing time only. Docking and the stop itself take additional time on top.

There are others, but if we have already crossed the lake or gone up towards the far shore, reaching one takes considerably longer.
15–20 minutes, depending where we are
The sooner he knows, the closer we are likely to be to somewhere useful. There is nothing awkward about asking.
The charter runs for the hours you reserved, and a toilet stop happens within them rather than being added on afterwards.
And on the day
Please arrive at the boat five minutes before your agreed departure time. Another charter is often waiting, so arriving late shortens your own time on the water rather than moving it.
